On Pony Up Marysville 5/3/24, the gifts you make to any of the participating non-profit organizations will have a bigger impact! Your donation will go directly to the organization for immediate needs. Each organization will receive a 50% match on your gift that will be added to their endowment. Some will choose to add all donations into their endowment. Some will use the money for immediate operating needs. Either way, you can feel good knowing your gift has made a bigger positive difference for that charity.
Below are seven different methods of making a gift on Pony Up Marysville Match Day.
Giving Options and Details
1. Give at the Live event in the Helvering Community Center 111 S. 8th Street, Marysville from 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Each hour one donor name from the live event will be drawn to win $100 for the participating fund of their choice.
2. Give Online at www.ponyupmarysville.com
Gifts can be made online from 12:01 a.m. - 11:59 p.m. on May 3.
The homepage on this website will change to the online giving form beginning at 12:00 a.m. on May 3.
3. Donate by Mail
Mail donations to: Jeff Crist, 1129 Juniper Road, Marysville, Kansas. Email : huskerjcrist@hotmail.com, Cell phone : 785-562-7341.
All mailed donations must include a donation form which are available on the top tab above. Write one check to MCF and complete the donation form to designated the fund(s) and amount(s) to each.
Donations can be mailed in advance and arrive by May 8, 2024 to be matched.
4. Donate by Donor Advised Fund
Fill out the Match Day Donation Form with your donation preferences and personal information
Call Marla or Sally at GMCF office, 785-587-8995
Bring in, mail, or email the completed match day donation form to GMCF
5. A Gift of Grain donation: Must be arranged prior to Match Day
A gift of grain can be utilized for Match Day giving, but planning ahead is important for the grain producer, grain elevator, and the community foundation. If you are interested in donating grain, please call GMCF at (785)587-8995 and ask for Marla.
6. Donate from an IRA account: Must be arranged through your professional advisor prior to Match Day
Donors can use an IRA or other retirement assets such as a 401(k), Keogh, or 403(b) to make Pony Up Marysville Match Day donations. Your personal tax advisor can help you make this transaction prior to May 3, 2024.
7. To Donate by Stock: Must be completed at least one week prior to Match Day
Step 1. Fill out the match day donation form
Step 2. Call Marla or Sally from GMCF office 785-587-8995, who will provide you with the transfer instructions for brokerage firm
Step 3. Deliver transfer instructions to your brokerage firm
Notify GMCF with the following information:
A. Name of brokerage firm sending stock
B. Name of stock being transferred
C. Number of shares being transferred
