Specific Need

Marysville is better when people take time to be part of it. That message was reinforced during Jeff Siegler’s week in town, when OneMarysville brought the nationally known community development speaker to Marysville for conversations with business owners, city leaders, nonprofit groups, students and residents about civic pride, momentum and what makes people care about where they live.

Siegler reminded us that people want to be near people, but he also challenged communities to pay attention to how a town looks and feels. Pony Up Marysville helps OneMarysville do that work.

Your support helps us tend to the beauty of Marysville through efforts like the Sparkler program, community clean-up days and projects that help public spaces stay cared for and inviting. It helps us work alongside business owners as they improve storefronts, buildings and the look of downtown. It helps us pay attention to the details people notice right away, whether flower beds are maintained, corners are clean or a block feels active and cared for.

Your gift also helps create more reasons for people to come downtown and spend time in Marysville. That includes larger events like Big Blue River Days, activities at the Farmers Market, outdoor games near Pony Park and gatherings that bring residents and visitors together. More people downtown means more connection, more local spending and more pride in the place we share.

• Design – We improve the physical elements of our community, from signage and storefronts to public spaces and gathering places.
