Historic Courthouse Preservation

Specific Need

The preservation of the Historic Courthouse continues with plans to complete the repairs on the tower. Following the completion of  the roofing project, the lawn will need to be retilled and seeded.  The funds will also be used to continue preserving the artifacts in the museum through the purchase of archival storage and materials.  These projects will follow restoration guidelines in our Historic Structure Report.

Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated and will be used to further exterior repair, the restoration of our lawn.

Please help the Historical Society continue to repair and maintain the 135-year-old "Grand Lady of Broadway."

Mission

To preserve the stories of Marshall County through historical documents, exhibits and programs for the enjoyment and education of future generations.
