Pony Express Infant Toddler Services (PEITS) recognize the impact of healthy living on the Mental  and Physical Health of young children and families.  We will use these funds to incorporate resources and activities that promote healthy lifestyle practices in the home.

It is our mission to identify and address the needs of the child's overall well being, and to offer resources that promote success for the child's journey in early life.

Profile

Pony Express Infant Toddler Services is one of the 37 tiny-k networks in the state of Kansas.  We serve children and their families, ages birth to three, who have a disability or show a delay in development. Our services are offered at no cost to the family.  Our staff includes professionals who specialize in early childhood, speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and nursing.  PEITS evaluates the physical, cognitive, communicative, social/emotional and adaptive/self help skills of the young child. We promote the use of evidence based practices for the parent to use throughout the child's daily routines. We coach the parent to use their daily routine as an opportunity for their child to engage, learn and play as they grow in each area of development.
