Support Pony Up Marysville 2026: Expanding Opportunity for Our Students
The Marysville High School Alumni Association is committed to helping students take the next step toward their future.
Through Pony Up Marysville, we provide dual credit scholarships, giving MHS students the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school.
This isn’t just a head start, it’s real impact:
- Lower college costs for families
- Increased confidence for students
- More opportunities after graduation
Every gift helps a local student take a class they might not otherwise afford.
Mission

Real Results for Local Families
Because of dual credit scholarships:
- Families have saved $2,500 to over $10,000 in college costs
- Students are entering college more confident and prepared
- Some students are earning over 20–30 college credits before graduating
This is real, measurable impact.
Why Dual Credit Matters
Each dual credit class costs about $150, which can be a real burden for local families.
Through Highland Community College’s Early College program:
- Tuition is about $65 per credit hour
- Courses meet Kansas Board of Regents standards
- Credits transfer to most Kansas colleges
Students get:
- A head start on college
- Lower future tuition costs
- Real academic confidence
Without support, many students simply can’t take advantage of these opportunities.
