Specific Need

As we look ahead, we’re building for the future. Our Board has committed to growing a $1 million endowed fund to sustain and expand the Foundation’s work for many years to come – to better serve our nonprofits and donors and ensure a healthy future. In 2025 alone, the Foundation granted more than $45,000 to meet unforseen community needs—and we’re just getting started, with 2026 on track to be our biggest year of community grants yet.

On May 1, 2026, we’ll celebrate something special—the 10th Annual Pony Up Marysville Match Day. This summer also marks twelve years of the Marysville Community Foundation connecting donors and nonprofits across Marshall County—a moment that invites both reflection and gratitude.

What began as a simple idea—to care for and grow our community—has become something much bigger. This year, Match Day will support 67 local nonprofit organizations, each doing important work that touches lives all across Marshall County. Over the past decade, more than $3 million has been given and distributed through Pony Up Marysville, the Foundation, and the generosity of our community. All of those donations have gone directly to supporting youth programs, arts, health, history, and essential services right here at home.

But what matters most isn’t the dollars raised — it’s the people impacted. Neighbors helping neighbors. A shared belief that this place we call home is worth investing in.
