Marshall County Habitat for Humanity is committed to assisting families and individuals in Marshall County by providing access to quality, affordable housing.

In the past two years, Habitat has completed projects which include:

*Construction of 3 handicapped ramps at no cost to the families.

*Winterizing a home with replacement windows and attic insulation.

*Two roof replacements.

*Assisting a mother and her child in purchasing and renovating a home.

*Repairing a broken sewer line.

In the past 6 years, 20 school aged children have benefitted from new homes or substantially improved living arrangements.

We are currently completing a new home for a Marysville family with 5 children to replace a substandard house.

In addition to quality, affordable housing, Habitat helps families acquire financial and life skills necessary for home ownership, as well as providing access to other resources needed for a stable home.

Currently Habitat relies on client loan repayments to begin new home builds or renovations.  Also the Habitat Thrift Shop provides many families with needed clothes and household items as well as supporting new projects with profits from the shop.  In addition Marshall County Habitat accepts donations and requests for new projects.

The need for quality and affordable housing continues to grow in the current COVID-19 pandemic as incomes are lost or reduced.

We are appealing to you to support our mission in Marshall County by donating directly to Habitat or supporting us on the Pony Up Marysville Community Support Day on September 4th, 2020.

All donated funds are used to support families, as the local affiliate is a volunteer organization and no money is used for staffing purposes.

Thank you for your support. A Marshall County family will have a more secure, safe and stable future with your help.
